The problem with WNBC'am wasn't the talent nor the studio, but things really seemed to fall apart when they hit the transmitter due to bad processing choices, a somewhat unusual shared (w/wcbs-am) antenna, an insistance on using RCA product no-matter-what and somewhat lax maintenance.
The following I'am told is a line check of the Big Wilson show from either late 1971 or early '72.
