Some additional urban streamers

KHLR has been streaming since the flip from Gospel. Their audio on the Tune Inn app is horrible. Its sounds like your listening to a AM station. Musically it sounds like a Rhythmic Oldies station on the westcoast and better than KOKY

Noticed the odd sound on KHLR's stream, but it is in stereo! Musically, they seem to throw in a deeper urban cut here and there but overall it definitely would be classified as jammin oldies.

Thanks for the update on WROU, have been waiting on it for some time.

Could the urbans in Louisville be next? I believe they are co-owned.

Others still out there - KOPW Omaha (more rhythmic) and the 3 urbans in Toledo. Not to mention Urban Oldies veterans WWWS-AM Buffalo and of course KKDA-AM Dallas which hints at a stream on its Facebook page every once in a while but still doesn't have a station website.

Perry in Oklahoma streams Urban AC/ Talk KRMP and KGTO but not KKRX in Lawton. KRMP and KGTO are programed different after the Open Mic talk show is over. I know KKRX is daytime only but it would be nice to hear it. I think it use to be Urban Gospel in the 90's

Unfortunately you can also at least temporarily add urban AC KDKS Shreveport to that list. They are streamless at the moment. Lots of comments about it by fans on their Facebook page. Did they recently get a new owner? (Access One communications)

Oh my goodness, I have been waiting on those Louisville stations for years! Thanks for the Update. I don't think those 2 stations are anything special but it is nice to be able to hear them again after all these years (I think the last time I visited Louisville was 2004). Is there any hope for Toledo and Omaha? There probably isn't for the Buffalo and Dallas AMs. I would also like to see 102.1 and 103.7 in Shreveport come back as well as the 2 Chattanooga FMs.

Wow, those Louisville stations need to work on the quality of the stream audio, but glad they are now online!
