Some Advice For Local Posters

Everyone here obviously has their own point of view, and I respect that. Now here's mine: MOST OF THE PEOPLE HERE HAVE PROVEN THEMSELVES UNINFORMED AT BEST! It would come as no big surprise to me that most of you that post here don't even work in broadcasting. Save yourself some time and please STOP posting here if you don't know what you are talking about. I am talking to YOU who posts here with your bad grammar and lack of ANYTHING worthy of posting on a public forum. I am doing you a favor by suggesting that you spend some time elsewhere and stop wasting other peoples time here. Now here are a few random pointers for those who don't exactly "get it." 1. Roy Henderson does not want to talk to you...ANY OF YOU! 2. Roula & Ryan will NOT be returning to KRBE. 3. If your alarm-clock is set to The Wave, then you are definitely past your prime. BTW, The question should be phrased: "How WELL does the Arrow do in Houston?" Not, "How GOOD..." My third-grader has better command of the english language than some of you so called "professional broadcasters." I have avoided posting here for months and you have finally driven me over the edge. So please, for the sake of all of us here think before you paste your thoughts on a public posting board. If anything just stop embarrassing yourselves here and save it for the local grocery store check-out line with your kids. Now I am going to go turn my radio on and listen to you mumble your way through that liner card that you've read 10,000 times. I hope you've had your Wheaties today. Because I've had mine and I'm comin' for ya'! Finally, forget not that spell check iz yer freind.

Have you ever heard of the word: paragraph? Your writing is horrible at best and your use of grammar is stuck in the 2nd grade. Your post is a monumental embarrassment to yourself. Congratulations.

My, my, don't we have a HUGE ego?! The resolution to your problem seems elementary to me. If you don't like what you read on Radio-Info, then don't read it.

I agree with the part about Roula & Ryan(they suck and I am sick of hearing about them) but the rest of this post is way of base. I think people should post more often. I hate it when I come here and there haven't been any new post over the last 2 or 3 days. Could Talks2you be Fo-fo's newest alter-ego? It's a freaking internet message board, not a spelling bee or english class. [EDIT]

[EDIT*=inflamatory]

For the record... that's not me. I come here to have some fun, not to correct people.

Wow! Somebody got upset.
I can stop posting here and I can pull every cent of my advertising dollar out of radio.

While the "Big Two" keep jockying my target demo all over the dial, I try to find other
avenues within the same media. As a customer it is a pain in my ass that I don't need.

As a listener, I fully expect radio to be entertaining and of a nature that I can listen to at home, work and in my car. I expect my children not to blush and my wife not to gasp.
Syndicated shows and card readers aren't entertaining. Perhaps cheaper than real talent but not entertaining. Ultra tight playlists based on exacting musical genre are wrong. I didn't find a radio at 14 and decide new music was evil at 36. Also, brand loyalty does still exist.

Finally, I do own an AP Stylebook. I had to buy it in Kolledge. So I could get my duhgree in Journahlizm.
They sell for about $14.00. these days.

Guess I can stop posting here. Seem to be out of things to say and beyond my welcome.

hmmm I didn't know this was a private forum for ONLY broadcasters. I guess the people like me have no word afterall. This kind of crap I get is why I have turned away from radio, at least in San Antonio. I enjoy Houston radio more than SA because of more selection, but I know that they most are "cookie cutter" stations that you hear across the nation. I don't claim to be a broadcast expert. I have never stepped into a studio. I'm just some regular guy with am/fm tuners. Though I believe in correct grammar and spelling, this is just a casual public forum. It's like any other board, except we talk radio here. Would a professional board have smiley faces you can place on your comments?

I may join you soon with Satilite radio, Only problem I have with Satilite radio is the Audio quality and the fact I cant really take it anywere unless there is a good repeater out there.

Talks to you seems to be the most uninformed of all on this site.
I'd bet if the "Display IP address box" was checked in the Admin panel, that BS would stop.
Although, it does make for a lively board!

The part in red is obviously in error. As has been made apparent and will be confirmed on live television tomorrow morning.
