I am working with a host who is getting ready to take his show to syndication on Sundays (it is a health show)...looking for opinions on the time to syndicate. 3-6p or 6-9p? Thoughts?
You make it a little tough to give a thoughtful answer. Are these eastern times? Is it an interview show or a call-in show? Does this person have a national footprint? Who's the target audience? Is this person a medical professional? Who's your competition? What are you basing the three-hour time frame on...your goal or your affiliates'? Are you also doing short-form reports to supplement?
Without answers to the above, generically-speaking I'd think you'd want earlier than later.
Well...who is anyone's target audience? I think the main target is going to be p 25-54 both from an advertiser point of view and I believe the message will resonate best with that demo.
Our flagship is giving us three hours...obviously no affiliate would be required carry all three hours but that gives us a nice block each week. All three hours will be available on the bird.

Not yet...but that will be coming down the line shortly.
I hope that helps...thanks for your time and attention to the question. For most people this is not a big decision but we are trying to make the most educated choice here.
