Some airchecks I've recently heard

99.5 KISS from the mid 90s-back then they did a mix of new rock and some older artists like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, and Pink Floyd.
92.9-Star 93 from the very early 90s, possibly 1989.
Z95 from Chichago, Il, late 80s.
both DJs on there were R.J. Renyolds(Ron James). I work for him. There happens to be a box full of tapes at my work, some labeled airchecks. I took a walkman with me one day to listen to a few tapes. They all sounded really good, recorded straight from the studio. I remember Star 93 and the cuts of music on there brought back some memories....too bad most of those songs don't get played in San Antonio anymore. There was also some really nice 80's jingles, nothing too flashy.

I wish I would of made airchecks of 102.7 KTFM before it fliped & 106.7 jamz. I just have a few mix recordings of 1067jamz.

I have a few airckecks of KTFM from the early 90s. they don't sound too good at all because I used really cheap tapes.

I put the ones now on tape & Mp3, I have 2 cd's of mp3 airchecks.
