KVET HD and RDS is off

The 103.1 80's has moved to KHFI HD-2 and the Adult hits station on HD-3.

Weird. I wonder what happened.

This is an aside but 103.1 just doesn't seem like it can get any traction, regardless of format. The signal is far far worse in my experience to what the contour maps show.


Another HD note, I noticed recently that KTXX has a HD3 and HD4, but doesn't have an HD2.
 
On KTXX, that has been like that forever even before The horn changed. I noticed all the HD sub channels was off today.
 
KUTX is off the air. I was picking up KLMO.
 
Here is what I am curious about.... Is Austin City Limits Radio off the air too? K246BD (97.1) uses the same master antenna that is causing these off air outages for KUTX and Jack and doesn't have any licensed auxiliary site or STA filing, yet I don't see any mention of it being off the air on their socials or in the R-I report.

I am not currently in the listening area, so I can't say for sure either way.

I think that says an awful lot.

They don't think it is worth mentioning and/or that listeners will not put up with AM for the Jack music format.

I don't disagree.

At least they have HD which is the only way I'd listen to it if it's not on FM. But I'd rather just listen to Bob or Sun Radio
 
KVET RDS was back on today, no HD. KUTX was back on the air also.
 
Wonder when KVET HD will come back on? Also the clock time RDS is not on.
 
Why do they have Mega on 93.3 HD-4 and on 107.1 HD-2? They should put KLBJ AM on one of the sub channels better coverage then the 99.7FM.

I meant Latino not mega.
