On my way to Destin, I heard Coast 93.3 touching more on modern girlie music. Is this a trick? I thought they were specializing in the hits of yesterday and today format. I really think Cumulus needs to make a switch, put Coast 93.3 on 96.5, rebrand ZZZZZ to Mix 96.5 so they can focus more on what Coast is doing now, but with a more modern flair.. Coast 93.3 can become whatever. an Oldies station would be nice.. but I doubt it. This area is crap for radio and I was hoping for some switching before July.
Listening to ZZZZ and 93.3, they both sound a like with 93.3 playing more oldies. With the new Mix format, they can keep the 80s weekends (which I do love)
I'm tired of hearing the same type of music across the dial. Are we that boring? My next car will probably have satellite radio. am just tired of this nonsense. Wanted to bring this to the boards. Coast is a fine station but it's time to hang the towel. Mix 96.9 seems to be doing very well, love the format. Weak signal though.
