some kind of wierd dxing sat. evening

Was doing some dxing on saturday evening (about 8:00-8:30) in central parma. It was kinda wierd. Only got a few stations, but those stations came in with the strength of a local station. Those stations coming in with local like strength are:

93.7-wqio mt. vernon
94.5-wxkr port clinton(a lot of static)
96.1-wkfm norwalk
96.9-wlrd wilard
99.1-wfro freemont
101.3-wnco ashland
102.7-wcpz sandusky
102.9-wyfm youngstown (a little bit of static)
106.1-wbbg niles

The fact that I picked up most of these stations isn't out of the ordinany, but how strong they were coming in was the wierd thing. Except for wqio out mt. vernon, I don't usually pick up that one.

Anybody else do get simular results?

Hmmm Big 106 coming through Parma like a local? If that happened some weekday afternoon ordinary listeners would begin to wonder how Action Jackson can be at two places at the same time!
