Here are the new stations I received last night from my location 90 miles west of Philly.

580 WTAG Worcester, MA 1
Heard under WHP. I misheard the call letters and thought it was WCAG. I went on radio-locator.com, did an advanced search and WTAG was listed. Coast-to-Coast AM was airing.

640 WGST Atlanta, GA 2
I had this station for only about three minutes. I heard "640 WGST" and "640wgst.com", then it quickly faded.

1550 CMOR Nueva Gerona, Cuba 1
Radio Rebelde. I was able to tell that it was Rebelde because of the weird alarm-like sound at the top of the hour. I also heard them faintly talking in Spanish.

1570 WCLE Cleveland, TN 2
"Sporting News Radio." I heard mentions of "1570 WCLE" and "1570wcle.com."

1580 WEAM Columbus, GA 1
I heard "The Zone" being mentioned and call letters that sounded like WEAM. I went on Google, typed "ESPN Radio 1580 The Zone", and what came up was WEAM.

1580 WLIJ Shelbyville, TN 2
Country/Bluegrass/Americana station. Most likely operating at their daytime power of 5,000 watts. They only have 12 watts at night.

1700 KVNS Brownsville, TX 1
Call letters were too faint to be audible, but I did hear "...this is Classic Hits 1700." Again, with the use of Google, I typed in Classic Hits 1700 and KVNS was in the search results. I did hear some music from KVNS, but the signal was in and out.

90 m west of Philly sort of puts you in that Harrisburg-York-Gettysburg triangle.

I'm about 100 mi N/NW of Philly here, Jumper, in the forgotten Pottsville-Hazleton-Bloomsburg triangle.

I recall WLIJ 1580 as a sunset catch many years ago, but from Long Island. We'd hear WPAC Patchogue L.I. sign off, then maybe the two daytimers from Jersey, then WPGC Washington DC, then the PA stations, VA, TN, etc. We wound up rolling the dice all the way to KDAY Santa Monica one evening, of course dark out on Long Island.

But that was with fewer stations on the dial .... and no PSSA or nighttime power on regional channels or adjacents.

What's your radio, Jumper? Antenna? Your sort of faithkeeping AM domestic DX makes me want to spin dial and tape soon with the GE SR II .....

I used a Sony ICF-24 AM/FM portable radio with an internal ferrite bar antenna.

The Sony ICF-24 was an early version of the Sony ICF-36/38 series. I don't which is better in picking up AM signals, the ICF-24 or ICF-38. I have the later radios. The -36's ferrite bar is only 2 or 2 1/2 inches long. The 38 appears to be better than the 36.
