Some nice DX Catches

I got two DX Catches on 102.5 tonight (Friday) in Elyria. . WDVE out of Pittsburgh, and I believe WTSS Star 102.5 out of Buffalo, NY. 90% sure. I know it was a Star 102.5, and there is one in Des Moines, Iowa but I don't think I would need skip for that.

I also was getting something on 104.5 but I couldn't identify it, it sounded like an American call sign (so it wasn't CHUM Toronto). I thought I had heard "WILZ" which is in Saginaw, MI but the station didn't sound like classic rock, more top 40'ish. Maybe it was WCTZ Traverse City but That's a small station and 296 miles away, so that will remain a mystery.

Last Saturday picking up WMMX 107.7 out of Dayton.

"I also was getting something on 104.5 but I couldn't identify it"

Based on your Pittsburgh and Buffalo catches, I'd say 104.5 WXMJ out of the Meadville, PA area. "Magic FM", its basically a Jack or The Lake

Yes, indeed: FM trop conditions in this hot/high-pressure weather has been at work lately. (enhancement up to 200-300 miles or so away).

Cool, but not all that unusual for this time of year.

On the TV side, I was picking up KDKA-2, WTAE-4, and WQEX-16 (might be different calls, but it's the ION station now..) along with WYTV-33 and WBNX-55 This off an Indoor amplified antenna in SW Canton with a Dish converter box and a Zenith 14" digital TV
