Some not so huge news....

After three years of scrapping it out I have sold my Radio Domination Streaming Network (RDSN) to a group out of L.A. and I have moved on to pursue a new project.

Most people gave us less than a year when we launched our first station, and told me there was no way to make money with web radio... Well 3 years and 10 stations later not only did we defy the critics and turn a profit and survive, we managed to attract a buyer in the process....

It was a lot of hard work, but mostly it was meeting a lot of great people and having loads of fun along the way. I am really looking forward to a new challenge and once again defying the critics and the odds....

Good for you ... congratulations on the success!! I also was involved in an experiment with web radio a couple years ago ... went well, but it's going to be a tough landscape for huge profit margins. Most people involved are doing it based on passion, or the "what-if..." factor. That was my big concern as I was watching "Jet City Stream" launch with so much fanfare, facility, staff, etc.

If I had the extra funding and free time to dedicate to it, I'd probably be doing something like that. I may yet. As of now, I'm in no particular hurry (still raising two teenybopper girls, so until they're established I'll have to put off a few things...) But I do know with each passing year, web radio just keeps growing with no end in sight.

congrats. live your dream your way ;D
