Some Positive Thoughts on WBOS

I have been tuning in middays to Joanne Doody's shift and she is a refreshing part of the station after the clean-out of the other radio personalities.

While I do miss the original air talent, Joanne is up to date and gives me the feeling that she is free to choose the music selections.

I have also noticed that WBOS's music library is becoming more diverse as well.

It's as diverse as you are going to hear on a commercial, non-satellite radio station in a Top 10 market.

You're forgetting about "Mike" and the other "Jack" type formats.

No I'm not! They aren't diverse.

What makes WBOS so "diverse"? AAA stuff all sounds alike to me.

True, and maybe diverse isn't the best word. But I do like how WBOS has blocks of acoustic music. And those segments are are lot more interesting than the predictible stuff on the rest of Boston's commercial radio dial.
