Somebody tell 94.3 to fix their audio

In Greenville

They moved to new studios and now that they returned to the air, it sounds like the audio is feeding back into itself. At first it sounded out of phase but I believe they fixed that.

The engineer used to post here. Maybe he will see this? (he probably knows already though)

We did have a phase issue, I have corrected that, all else is the same. Badly damaged gives me no idea what is wrong. Please tell me what is wrong and I will see what is happening. P.S. Thanks for bearing with us during the move, It turned out to be quite the ordeal. ED

Moving a radio station is quite an undertaking...You and Buscemi have done a great job getting things back together....

It sounds like audio is looping back into itself - the effect you get if you create feedback by directly connecting an output to an input that will end in the same place. Been this way ever since the move.

The effect is such that your ears will get accustomed to it if you listen too long. Punch to 93.3, then 94.3, then 93.3 and compare. Of course there is a processing difference but this is waaaaaay different.

I agree that you guys did good with the move... aside from the loss of local shows there was very little on-air downtime.

^ that too

Also the gate is set so high (low?) that some talk gets gated out. It's been a big problem during the Carolina games.

Eddie is a sharp dude..he'll get it fixed...Eddie, I heard from Gary Saber...He said he was listening to me while moving the stations....That was nice of Gary...I appreciated it very much...
