Someday I like to buy KAZG 1440 AM from Sandusky Radio and flip it to 24/7 Computer Talk and relocate the transmitter to West Phoenix, AZ on 75th Avenue and Camelback also upgrade the daytime and night time wattage to Class A 50,000 watts and move it to the 800AM frequency.

The new station call Computer Talk KAZG 800 AM license to Glendale/Phoenix or Maryvale/Phoenix

The new radio company called Computer Talk Radio, LLC

Please email me Eric Stein to [email protected] if computer Talk is the future on AM Radio?

Please...everyone.....do us all a favor... dont take the bait. This guy cannot be for real. Just someones twisted sense of (used lightly) "humor."

It's like clue, right? ;)

I think it was Barry "Nearly Bald One" Kommando, with the reel-to-reel tape splicer, in the production studio. :D

Am I right? :-\

Sounds like a plan to us! Nurse Jeff and I'll send a $25 check to get you started under the following conditions: dial position to be 630 with 100kw; 5 tower directional array putting massive RF into Tucson and Phoenix; and city of license, Nogales Mexico.

Just produce a DNA report showing that you are Matt Gerson's brother, and you will get your own station to play with.

forget about 1440. ..go worldwide and broadcast on the internet. ..it's the future! 8)

soon, you'll be able to listen to any internet stream on your car radio and then you can kiss am/fm goodbye.

I Agree 100%. Internet Webcasting is the way to go.

In all seriousness…how would Internet streaming in a car become a reality? Would Wi-Fi (wireless Internet) signals have to become as strong and as commonplace as terrestrial radio signals? In order for this to realistically happen, wouldn't entire cities have to offer free Wi-Fi? Isn't Tempe at least trying to do this?

Not only that, but how would one select an individual station out of tens or hundreds of thousands worldwide, especially while driving a car, talking on a cellphone, and putting on makeup or shaving at the same time? ;D

Streaming to your car is here now and available to the masses. I listen to streaming audio everyday in my car. And no...don't need a laptop to do it. I have the stations of my choice pre-programmed in my cell phone. I have an FM transmitter plugged into the phone. Streams come across my radio @128k. I can hear them anywhere I have high speed cell service. It's no harder than listening to your IPOD.

In the very near future there will be decks available for the general population. I imagine they could either run through the same cellular technology I just described or more likely they'll be wi-fi.

Who has that service and how much does it cost?

Sprint PCS. $20.00 per month for the unlimited high speed data. That plan also gives you unlimited access to the web for checking your email and limited browsing as most pages don't show up correctly on a small cellphone screen. Verizon has a similar plan as well.

Yes, $20 a month a the Sprint service is actually pretty fast. But it puts a huge hole in this cockeyed suggestion that satradio will kill AM/FM... $13 a month for the same lack of choice or $20 a month for literally unlimited choice, local news from any city, any sporting event, etc?

Is thie original poster serious or does he have some "issues"
