Somehow, WYVC and WCOX got their licenses back.

The title says it all. I'm rather flabbergasted as this marks the third time they've done this.

The FCC granted WCOX (AM) an STA to run at "licensed" parameters as is customary, but the station's been off with a busted transmitter and a felled tower for well over a year now, I think.

WYVC also stayed on during license reconsideration, but as far as anyone can tell, they're using the wrong antenna from an unauthorized site, making something like 25 or 30 kW on a license for 6 kW.

What does it take to get a Fed off his butt and down to inspect this terrible setup? I realize the sole owner of "Down Home Broadcasting" is an 85 year old pastor with little income, but that's no excuse to run willy-nilly outside the parameters of the license. The guy truly thinks he can do what he wants…

WYVC is still an easy catch here in Selma. Their signal booms real good. This radio station only does one or two ID's per hour and still doesn't have an EAS setup in place. The FCC needs to step it up and do something about "These Violations". Dr. Neolin Craig still doesn't impress me.

WQLS still does the full blown commercials. They still don't have an EAS setup in place. So sad indeed. Wish the FCC would step it up and do something about "These Violations" too. The owners of this radio station should know better.

Far as I'm concerned, Camden still has no "Real Radio Station" at all.
