Her name (at least on the radio) is Kate Scott, and last night she called the game between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks for Westwood One. I've been listening to football games roughly since 1985 and I've never heard a female person on the radio for either local pro teams or national broadcasts until last night. Unfortunately, I only caught the highlights to last night's game on Westwood One but I believe the network does keep at least some of its past play-by-plays on its website. Anyway, She sounded good and I hope we hear more of her.

Kate Scott is the lead PXP voice for the Philadelphia 76ers on NBC Sports Philadelphia, and I believe she has done some soccer work as well. She started doing NFL this season for Westwood One and made some history in the process. She's great! Kate Scott will be 1st woman to call NFL game for Westwood One - Outsports
