SOMETHING BREWING AT CLEAR CHANNEL?

Prolly more non local programming.

And try to make FM sound more and more like XM/Sirius radio.

It probably has to do with the new beta version of iHeartRadio and that huge concert later this month in Vegas.

That HUGE concert isn't that big a deal. KIIS-FM in LA puts together a star-studded one-day music festival every year. That's just one major market station. You would think with more than a thousand stations promoting this, it would go more than two days.

The good news is, if you download the 'iheartradio' app, you can listen to the same announcers on clear channel stations from around the country, man consolidation has been good for the industry....
