Bristol American Legion Baseball Games can now be heard in English on SuperMax 990 AM WXCT. Not sure who's doing the play by play, but one of the announcers said he used to announce on the radio for the Bristol American Legion baseball team about 15 years ago. Right now I can not find the schedule online. If I do I'll post a link.<P ID="signature">______________

Update: Broadcast Schedule

Here is the remainder schedule of the American Legion games that will be heard on SuperMax 990. Schedule is from Page 18 of today's Bristol Observer.

Tuesday June 14 5:45PM at Winsted
Wednesday June 15 7:00PM at Meriden
Monday June 27 5:45PM at Terryville
Wednesday July 6 5:45PM at Winsted
Tuesday July 12 5:45PM at Burlington
Wednesday July 13 5:45PM (Double Header) Vrs Unionville and New London

Other games may be added. Play by play is done by Ryan Schivo and a guy named Paul.<P ID="signature">______________

Interesting enough, they all seem to be away games.

Does the Bristol Legion baseball team charge admission to home games??

If they do, that might explain why only away games are broadcast. The team might not want to damage the live gate.

I think they do charge for the home games. They mentioned on air last night a former SOX player was gonna be at a home game in July and they mentioned ticket prices.<P ID="signature">______________
