It looks like CBS Radio will be freshing up Hartford. This as CBS wants to get the Fresh name into more markets. Later this week the Lite name on Lite 100.5 will be dropped for the Fresh brand. Even found the new logo for Fresh 100.5 on the CBS website. For some reason it wouldn't let me click on the link again so I saved the picture and posted it on imageshack. It looks much like the Fresh logo for Fresh 102.7 New York and Fresh 105.9 Chicago.

My friend at CBS NYC tells me that TIC will also change to the new 96.5 C-Rock and will carry Opie and Anthony....The flip will be announced at 5 pm today on 1080 WTIC am by John Elliott and Steve Coates.
Damon Scott will continue producing completely awful parody songs to impress his family and friends and the wolf pack.

Awww...come on. At least Damon Scott has a personality. Not enough of that on the Hartfrd FM dial. We should count ourselves lucky that it's not a VT show.

If that is in fact a real logo and not an April Fool's Gag, I'll bet you dollars to donuts it's for KKJJ in Las Vegas. KKJJ is a JACK-FM station on 100.5 in Las Vegas.

Yep its the same logo as Fresh 102.7 in New York and also is the same logo as Fresh 105.9 in Chicago. I just made that logo in Paint, just took the Fresh logo CBS uses and put 100.5 on it. I think I did a ok job.

Anyways this is just a April fools joke.
CBS Radio isn't fools like Clear Channel to take the name Lite away like they did in New York and then bring the Lite name back. As far as Lite 100.5 WRCH they aren't changing their name or anything. They do well in the market and are #1.

Not fools? 2 huge examples of foolishness just to our southwest: KRock - Free FM - K Rock, CBS FM - Jack FM - CBS FM.

Everyone makes mistakes now. Sure CBS Radio should of stayed with CBS FM and not went Jack. All they needed to do was tweak to how the format is right now. Things different at CBS because they have Dan Mason now. As for K-Rock they shouldn't of got it back.

Back to Hartford. Didn't CC kind of do that with 104.1 as its rock again just like it was when Radio 104 was here.

Well they gave Power 104 a good run of about 3 years. In those 3 years ratings went nowhere.
