Their midday host hasn't been on the air for most of the month - I'm sure if she were on vacation, they'd have just one jock filling in, as opposed to a rotating cast of subs every day... And then the other morning, Kim explained on the air how she might duck out of the station before the end of the morning show because she gets migraines... Suddenly, working at Jack-FM doesn't seem so bad?

Hmmm, that would be Barbara Bridges. She is probably (still) persona non grata with most Mix listeners since she torpedoed DUH-Lilah! But I've been listening more on the evenings and weekends since Tom Kent has been back on the air in Nashville! I've missed him! 8)
Barbara has also been there since right after it became WJXB after years as WZEZ. Having almost 20 years at the station means she'd have a ton of vacation. She could easily have at least 20 days a year of vacation.
I can't imagine they'd have let her go. The ratings are better than they've ever been, and I can't imagine Mix listeners miss Delilah at all. PPM has been absolutely brutal to her, and her main selling point with respect to ratings had always been more that she didn't hurt you than that she helped you.
It does, however, seem strange that they'd let her off for more than a week at a time. Hope she's okay!
