Something interesting on Univision

Years ago The Televisia network aired a show called "El Chavo". Domestically the show aired on Univision. Now I see that "El Chavo" is back in animated form Saturday nights at 730PM Eastern on Univsion. Like the original the animated version is produced (or distributed, whatever) by Televisia. I find it interesting that a "comedy-variety" type show like that was remade as an animated version. How many other shows have done this and do have any American Shows done this?

The Original El Chavo del Ocho still runs on Univisions sister network Galavision for an hour at 6 pm Eastern. I've never seen the Animated version but it's probably one of my favourite all time tv shows.

That's impossible. Doesn't "the Uni" carry that "Sabado Gigante" program starting at like 6 PM?

Sabado Gigante comes out Saturday from 7 till 10 in houston tx!
