WXCT 990 in Southington is looking to trade stuff with different people to end up eventually trading something to someone and getting a house that they can give to a needy person in Central Connecticut.

Ok, this just came to mind:

I have a bright yellow coffee mug that sports the words "Most Sex Maniacs Drink From Yellow Mugs..." Not something you see everyday. Would that work? Oh, and if I'm not trading for the tape, what am I trading for, the site isn't really clear about that...

I called Charlie's show today and put up a trade on the air. I've just been informed we have a successful trade, a typewriter in exchange for my very unusual coffee mug! It seems like things are getting started, and hopefully we can meet the deadline to trade up to a house for the family in question!

I'm going through a breakup of unknown severity, with my very much loved girlfriend currently, and it felt really good and a relief to my pain to be able to do my part, something to help those in need.

Yes Alan, Thank YOU very much for helping us get started. For those who may be interested but haven't visited the website: we are three trades in, so far. Our One Small House, for your Yellow Coffee Mug, for an Electric Typewriter, for a collection of "Collector's Barbies"...

I am going to add a feedburner feed for those who like rss feeds. Just visit the site www.onesmallhouse.com in a few hours and you'll be able to lock into our rss, and be notified as soon as we post a new trade. Incidentally, for those out of market, you are welcome to submit trades...there will be some logistical issues, but we can work them out!

I would like to encourage KJCB to be more positive and try to understand the purpose of what we are doing, why be a hater and be a non-contributer, when you can do something positive and be a part of something special? No one said you had to like the programming...I understand not everyone likes it, but there are people that do. We have our niche. [Maybe it's just me, but has anyone else noticed some infomercials have interesting stories to say the least!]
