Something strange on 98.5

While in the Middlebury area, at around 6:20pm on 98.5. I heard what sounded like very loud data with Spanish programming very low in the background.
Anyone else hear this? Never heard anything like it.

I just tried 2 other radios, no problem with both stations.

I forgot to mention in my first post, I first heard this on the Pioneer Super Tuner in my 1972 Volvo 1800ES
with a very wet LUCAS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM!!!!
This is not the first time the "Prince of Darkness" has raised it's ugly head.

Found it! looks like it was a bad contact on one of the data lines on the removable face plate on the Pioneer.
Took the face plate off cleaned the contacts and the problem was gone!.....I think there is a lesson to be learned here somewhere!!!

Measure twice, cut once
Pete
