Something to ponder...

If an individual downloads music from a peer-to-peer download site, such as limewire, the RIAA gets nuts and starts suing. BUT...if a radio station does it, is it illegal? Something to ponder...radio stations have already paid for the right to play music on the stations, and most of them get their music free. Any thoughts?

I had this discussion with numerous PD's, who were afraid of being busted. My argument was we weren't stealing, as we pay APRA (Australian Preformance Rights Association) fee's, so it wouldn't be that much of an issue.
