Something Weird Going On at The Blaze and Talk FM

Friend of mine that works there is crazy-excited about something but won't tell because he/she signed something that won't let him/her be "in on it" if they find out he/she spilled the beans. I know two people from California have been meeting with management since the summer and they aren't radio people whoever they are. Something's up.

Yeah, this person is definitely Talking about 99.3 Talk FM and 106.9 The Blaze in Tyler. But who knows what this person is talking about.

From what I can gather, this person has a friend that is Half Male/Half Female and that person talked to other people who drove all the way from California to Texas to talk to some radio station managers about something other than radio.

I'm thinking they want to turn the stations into Subway Sandwich shops.
 
Maybe they will be merging the stations into a new concept called "Hip Hop Talk.". They don't actually play hip hop music, they just talk about it.
 
I think they may be meeting to discuss how to actually get a "clue" as to what they are doing with 99.3

how about rap talk radio.they can talk about politics and take phone calls rap style.

I don't get it... When KTBB does conservative talk and sports talk, everybody loves them. When 99.3 does conservative talk and sports talk, they get bashed as clueless. I think they do ok with this format. It doesn't get good ratings, but who knows, maybe it still sells. Jack-FM sucked, and Gleiser tried oldies with KDOK and that didn't sell either. What would you have them do?

The first thing I think of when I hear CALIFORNIA is ... K-LOVE! Maybe EMF will buy it and put up an AIR-1 station... :(
