I caught a little of the Dallas-San Antonio preseason game Friday, and ESPN had gone to a "strip" for its NBA programming, and was using graphics not unlike its Monday Night Football coverage. Also, when it was going to break it used ABC's old music and spiffier graphics not unlike ABC's graphics. Maybe now they won't lag behind TNT like they did in the past.

Those graphics/music will more than likely appear on ESPN on ABC's coverage

beginning on Christmas Day when Miami goes back to LA.
