something's going down with CBS

adam carolla on klsx this morning talking about the flip on his station today,

but also saying that "they're doing some flipping over there (in NEW YORK), I hope they're aware of it because I'm talking about it now. I was told that everyone's aware of what's going on, I'm not mentioning the specific station for a reason. CBS is making sweeping changes, flopping and flip-flopping formats...."

from all access, hmmmmm INTERESTING..

Well, at least we have comfirmation that there will be at least one change here in the near future!

if cbs flips krock agian i wanna let you rock fans know its not coming back a 3rd time

Rock is dead, at least when it comes to radio in most major markets. K-ROCK would be the better choice to flip since their ratings are so bad.

Rock isn't dead, but there was no way K-Rock could succeed by trying to pass itself off as a hard-hitting, cutting-edge rock station (in its imaging), but with a playlist featuring the same old tired, played-to-death music that's been burnt to a crisp and which can be found on all the other classic rock stations.

Well said, Neo. A current rock station should play "currents." Or maybe I'm missing something.

Maybe I should be a consultant. Are they hiring?
