I hear this song on the european stations, and during mixshows. The Lyrics go as follows....(POWER)..Music Power...Pump the Bass up..Power..music power....... That is about the only lyrics in the song. It has kind of an Erie, late night sound to it. I realize this isnt much to go on, but Im sure one of our DJs will know it, maybe our Buddy Justin at Knrj. Or maybe Mikeo, or Chrles, or Sir Nigel. Its all over European radio, especially Flaix FM, in Spain, and Radio DEEJAY 92.9, in Hungary. Thanks to anyone who can help, ....NExt question.....Who does the dance version of Rock Song,,,California here we come, also a popular remix in Europe. I need the name of the Rock Band, and the name of the remixer. Thanks...

The name of the band that does "California" is of course Phantom Planet. It's the theme song to the show the O.C., and it was a Top 10 hit in several European countries including Italy and the UK. There have been several Dance cover versions to it(instrumental and vocal), but none stood out for me to want to remember their names.
I need more info to help ID your first question.

Mix DJs on XM's BPM have played a track with a female vocal ("Music Power") and male vocal ("Pump The Bass Up") matching your description: Porno "Music Power."

"California" Dance cover I know is by C.O. not great but worth hearing.

The other ID on "Music Power" is correct. Track is lifted from an old 80's Sly and Robbie tune called "Boops". ;)
