The song title was L.F.O, from the artist with the same name L.F.O.... I think the artist name was an alias, not quite sure, maybe someone else can help with that one. It was a BreakBeat Track, I know that much, Kinda dated, but still a fun record. (THANKS ALOT)....Now I have to dig that out, and blow the Dust off the Vynle...LOL.....

Re: Ive got it...

I'm assuming this is the LFO that did that "this is going to make you freak" as in Low Frequency Occupation - Freak? Not the pop group that did "Every Other Time".<P ID="signature">______________

Your right there was a pop group called LFO, but its definately not the same group.

Re: Ive got it...

The LFO from the early 90's was a UK group (I think); no relation whatsoever to the pop act from the late 90's. LFO stands for Low Frequency Oscillation (or Oscillators, not sure which it is offhand), a reference to one of the mechanisms commonly found in most modern-day synthesizers.

The song "LFO" was released domestically by Tommy Boy back in '91; I have the 12" around here somewhere. I believe they were signed to Warp in the UK. Cool song. There were a handful of updated remixes released a year or two ago too.

Re: Ive got it...

summary:

ok, so LFO by LFO is a true classic. LFO Originally consisted of 2 producers.

LFO now only consists of one guy, and he has released an album not too long ago on Warp, that featured the single "Freak". This track was recently featured in a Hummer 2 commercial.

The guy was also responsible for songs/productions performed by Bjork.

There have been many reissues of the LFO track, and you can find it on numerous (oldschool) compilation cd's.

This LFO has nothing to do with the pop group.

Back in 1986 Juan and his crew in Detroit had a track called No UFO's. Early Detroit techno sound.

Re: Ive got it...

Two LFO's.

Early 90s = Light Frequency Oscilator = Techno
Mid 90s = Lyte Funky One = Boy Band

No, the song name should be under L.F.O as well, try typing it in using the dots . . . , as would be L.F.O, instead of typing it as LFO, without the periods in between.
