Songs in the scrap heap

I'm not sure that I understand the point of this thread. Are you saying that's where they are, and that it's regrettable, or that's where they belong?
 
No I'm simply saying they don't get any airplay at all. It's up for debate as to which songs are good and which are not. I suspect many songs that make this list will be the latter. I happen to like the two songs I've chosen to kick this thread off with.
 
Pretty much anything by The Smithereens. They did barely crack the Top 40 twice...

I was thinking a lot of novelty songs would probably fit the category as well. Whether that's good or bad is, of course, debatable.
 
Oh man...well...I'm starting off with "Greendays" new album....great stuff....I never hear it on the radio.... 21st Century Breakdown is a great song. I have yet to hear it played....
