Songs & Stories & Radio Station Loyalty

Since I got AT&T Fiber internet in 2020-08 (had AT&T dialup since 1998-03 till shutdown 2020-11), I've been watching/listening to YouTube videos and audios, I began reading the comments - many people write multiparagraph comments about what was happening in their lives when they first heard the song (many want to go back to the 1980s [or 1970s or 1990s] and relive that time in their lives).

My idea is to encourage Radio station listeners to (anonymously) tell their stories about the songs played on the Radio station (on a Facebook page associated with the radio station) as a way to (potentially) increase Radio station loyalty.

(this would probably work best with Oldies Radio stations)

SXM has been doing something similar on their 70's 80's and 90's channels during special weekends when airstaff aren't voice-tracking. Listeners can send an audio file of their favorite song and memory then (if it's short and to the point) the clip is scheduled to play before that song. Doesn't seem like a lot of work behind the scenes to put something like that together, but it is.
They do it rarely, because the amount of work isn't worth the benefits.

Classic Rock or Classic Alt could work as well. I recently heard Robert Plant's "Ship of Fools," which made me think about the time it was featured on an episode of Miami Vice, which in turn triggered a bunch of other 80s and 90s-related memories. Nostalgia is a heck of a drug, and many of us had this wonderful music in the background while we were living our best, youthful lives at the mall or watching MTV or Beverly Hills 90210 with friends. I'm sure there are many wonderful, and colorful, stories to be shared! This sounds like fun, but I don't know if it would work.
