Sons and Daughters of Current and Former Employees of Local TV Stations

Do you know of any recent or past examples of local TV stations having sons and daughters of current or former employees working for them?

Here is a link to one recent example at a station in the Mobile, Alabama-Pensacola, Florida TV market:
 
How about 3 generations?

Current KPNX Phoenix daytime anchor Joe Dana, in broadcasting since 2001, is the son of noted anchor Kent Dana, who was in broadcast from 1971 to 2009, including 25 years at KPNX and 5 more at KPHO-TV. Kent Dana is the son of longtime media personality Joe Dana, who began a broadcast career in 1932 at KOY radio and and hosted a television show on KPHO-TV in the early 1950s (when KPHO was the only TV station in the state). In the 1990s, Kent Dana and the elder Joe Dana used to co-anchor a KPNX newscast once a year - on Christmas Day IIRC.

You beat me to it. Was just ready to reply about KPNX and the Dana's. I thought Kent and his father Joe used to do the news together on Father's Day. Also, didn't they have one year when all three were on the air?
 
Was Melissa Sander (of the infamous WAGA-TV "grape fall" in 1997) related to Jack Sander (who worked as GM of WAGA-TV around the same era, and now is the incoming "owner" of the Belo properties Gannett can't buy), or just coincidence that they worked at the same station?
 
Another example in Phoenix: Lin Sue Cooney (nee Shepard), anchor at KPNX, is married to the son of former station GM C.E. "Pep" Cooney (now deceased).
 
Kevin Eubank, meteorologist at KSL-TV. His father, Mark Eubank, was at KUTV for many years, then at KSL, which he retired from.

As for tech folks, I work with a guy (in KSL Radio Engineering) whose Dad was my first boss (KSL-TV Engineering).
Similar situation back in Georgia, with some engineers spawning their own replacements.
 
Tim Lewis, a weekend sports anchor at KOMO-TV in Seattle, is the son of long-time weeknight anchor Dan Lewis. They first shared the anchor desk for the first time last year - it is incredible for father and son to be at the same job!

The Ogle family has quite a dominance in Oklahoma City TV. Between KOCO, KFOR and KWTV, the father's at one, and his sons are at the other two.
 
Stan Chambers and his grandson Jaime, on KTLA.

In Houston, former KRIV anchor Mike Barajas' nephew Erik is an anchor on KTRK.
Also Ron Stone and Ron Stone Jr. on KPRC.
 
Don Alhart, at channel 13 (WOKR/WHAM-TV) here in Rochester, N.Y. since 1966, may now be the longest-running full-time local anchor in America. His son Jon Alhart did sports at several upstate New York stations, including Syracuse's channel 9 (WIXT/WSYR-TV), but left the business in 2008 to return to Rochester, where he now works at a local ad agency. At one point, Don Alhart did most of the newscast VO work for channel 13's upstate sister stations, and it was amusing to hear his voice introducing his son's sports segments on Binghamton's WIVT.

As does Chip Caray, who replaced grandpa Harry on Cubs telecasts in 1998 and dad Skip in 2008, after a few years of working together.

Maybe it was Father's Day. Christmas was when Kent would wear that red jacket - for some reason, I associated it with the newscast he did with his father, but I think you may be right.

How about Ernie Johnson, Jr., son of the longtime voice of the Braves? Or Joe Buck, son of longtime Cardinals voice Jack Buck?
And doesn't Marv Albert have a son--I think his name is Kevin--who's a basketball announcer?

It's too bad this thread wasn't expanded to include children of local television personalities who went into other areas of show business. At the top of the list would be George Clooney, son of Nick Clooney of WKRC-TV Cincinnati (also nephew of Rosemary Clooney). Also, Sharon Lawrence of "NYPD Blue," whose father Tom is with WRAL-TV Raleigh. I don't know if Sharon ever worked at WRAL, but George used to appear on his dad's talk show on WKRC during school vacations.
 
Was Ed "Kooky" Brynes ever a TV personality outside of acting? His son Logan Brynes is a morning anchor with WTIC-TV (FOX) channel 61 of Hartford. Meanwhile, Kara Sundlun-House, the daughter of the former Rhode Island governor Bruce Sundlun, is an anchor and features reporter for WFSB-TV (CBS) channel 3 of Hartford. Her husband is anchor Dennis House from the same station.
