Sony XDR-F1HD radio

Is this a replacement for the XDR-S3HD and has anybody used it before? If so, is it nice? It looks more like a mini-component system utilizing external speakers based on the picture I saw. Anyway, thanks in advance for any information on it. 8)
 
I have been using one for about a month and a half...

This unit is NICE!! Its a great, low cost way around table top units
that have their advantages but not necessarily the sound.

VERY easy to navigate, professional looking, super selective,
I could go on. but you get the point!

It IS a tuner and rely's on a external amplifier like a home stereo
and has RCA outputs.

Also found a few REALLY good reviews on this unit! These are from DX'ers
but anyone can find the info useful!
