No one on this board needs to worry. Too many local GM's and PD's post here. Their own screen names would become public thanks to discovery. And they wouldn't want THAT.

Yeah, he just wants to know who exactly his enemies are. That'd take a few fulltimers to track that, but hey, the taxpayers will gladly pay for MORE paranoia from this administration.

This is the part that needs to be stressed. The language of the bill does not state that annoying someone online is a crime, but doing so anonymously is a crime. The intent was to enact a similar law to that which makes it a crime to crank call someone anonymously (and yes, that is a crime).

I'm not saying that I agree with the current wording of the law, but I agree with what they are attempting to do.
