Soulja Boy vs. Jimi La Lumia

Could you please stop with the same less plugs of your song?

same less?

gotta keep the freestyle kids happy, i'm actually fronting the uncovered boys in my new xxx video coming soon to a sex shop near you....

It will be the year 2035 and he will stick think dance floor will be a hit.

"will be the year 2035 and he will stick think dance floor will be a hit."
stick think? hmmmmmm
you need to listen to Stevie B and Jaya a lil bit more..

Lalumia, I personally do love your music, but I think of it as more of Novelty Comedy music with tight house beats. I mean of course your songs are gonna do well in the NYC clubs and on the circuit scene, and even some mixshows, but I couldnt see myself programing your songs as a Power Current rotation and playing your music at lets say 9:30 A.M on a workday for an audience of mostly sober females. I still think THE ANTHEM would fit in well on a House Station like XMs THE MOVE, and For DJs Only and Last Call are your two funniest comedy records, I also like Dance Floor, (ONCE PLAYED ON KTU BY VIC LATINO) but that potty mouth of yours doesnt always make for good radio friendly material...LOL...... We Love ya though Jim Jim..... ;) :D ;D

thanks... I've just tried to add one more color to the screen, so to speak;it's not like dance is dominating the mainstream in America,and part of the reason is the hemaroidal stance taken by the gate keepers, who haven't done a very good job of providing a variety of choices to the menu;
the fact is that any dance track that shows up at CHR is, these days,of and by itself,
'a novelty',a sore thumb; they get added once in a blue moon,one at a time, with no follow through or follow up,and the constricted stance of the the 'taste makers' is why dance is now on a handful of high school stations and cable tv channels..
really, what is 'power rotation' anyway when the masses aren't listening or supporting

Maybe you all think of alternate ways to sell music then waiting for radio to hook it up. That should be considered a bonus at this point.

the way to re sell dance will be to sell it as a lifestyle statement,which is how hip hop broke and sustains itself;there are ways to do this and make it happen, I have an extensive background in publicity and public relations,but most folks here are always so 'blade bearing' that I'm keeping my 'cards' to myself, thanks all the same

perhaps of couple of the dance artists could get in a fight or shoot each other in the leg as well. :)
