Let me state unequivocally that I don't like the Mutt and Merloni show. Merloni is fine. Mutt is a nerd trying to be one of the "cool kids" and it's not working. Lately I've been turning it on a few minutes before 2:00, just before Holley and Ordway. As they wrap up their show they are playing some clicking and gurgling noises in the background. What is the theory behind doing things like this? Is it supposed to enhance one's listening pleasure? Who comes up with these things? Is it the host, the producer, the PD, or someone else? Maybe my intense dislike of Muttnansky is clouding my opinion, but does anyone really enjoy listening to gurgling noises?

Also, I think Kirk Minihane was on at the end of today's show. This is a separate topic, but they played Minihane's disgusting remarks about having sex with his pregnant wife on the Big Show last week. How is this knucklehead still on the air?
