Saturday afternoons used to feature Irish programming on 1550-AM.

I went to the website www.wntn.com and the Sound of Erin, which used to be featured on the page, is gone.

Anyone know what happened?

I don't know, and I can't find any information online, but like most programming on WNTN, it was a brokered (bought-time) show. Maybe the show producers lost sponsors and could no longer make ends meet?

Thanks Eli, that was my first thought, too. It's been around so long, though, at least 20 years. I hope nothing's happened to John Curran, the man behind it.
