sound quality on WXFX

Drove down to the gulf over the weekend and couldn't help but notice how awful the fox sounds. Especially after switching over from WBPT going south, and WRKH going north. Did Cumulus have some sort of equipment meltdown and are running it from an internet feed? because that's what it sounds like. Station IDs are fairly loud (about normal) commercials are very low, and vocals in some songs sound low as well, and overall the whole station sounds muddy, there's AM to FM translators in small towns that sound better.
