Sound Solution Pt.2

Ok........I got rid of the static, which I think was a soundcard driver issue. But I have 2 problems left. How come I get reverb echo if I put the output volume too high (especially 95%). And a ringing noise. If i can trouble shoot those, I'm set to go stream.

Now I know what's causing this. It's the volume of the win amp and the volume from the computer. When I turn down the win amp volume, the noise & reverb goes away, but I won't get the output volume or any performance from the sound solution even though the meters and everything is working. If the win amp volume is turned up, then I have to turn down my computer volume down and obviously I won't get no sound at all. Monitoring or streaming. What 's the solution? I'm only a step away.

Re:progress Report: Sound Solution : What's the Solution?

I'm not exactly sure how you are using sound solution, but I had a similar problem, and what I did was go to the recording properties and turned the ***loopback volume down becuase it was already selected.

*** I have seen it called different things with different sound cards.

Just a suggestion, not sure it will even help, but its a try :)

All I did was click on the speaker in the taskbar, then from there I clicked on options, then properties, then recording and ok. You could also access it through the control panel.
