If you need music for your station check out Radiomusicsupply.com
Multiple formats sorted by decade, extensive selection, choose between uncompressed .wav or 320k mp3.

If you have a gold based station, with radio music supply, you can be sure the song you get is the actual hit version and not an artist re-record like you might purchase on Amazon. Your audience knows the difference and will hold it against your station. Broadcast wav files too.

If I may also point out, if a non-commercial broadcaster has any friendly relationships with commercial stations, there is no legal prohibition on the latter providing tracks to the former. They are licensed for broadcast use even if purchased from a vendor. The only "no-no" is getting tracks for personal use rather than for on-air.
