Source(s) for Old AM Coverage Maps, pls?

Are there any?

And not just for stations gone dark, but for stations that have adjusted their power or patterns over the years?

And both the day and night patterns?

I'm primarily interested in the NYC Metro stations and those in Eastern PA ..... WHLI 1100, WERA 1590, the omni WGSM 740, WQIN 1290, WMBT 1530 .... stuff like that), Perhaps there are other DXers aboard who are intrigued in their regions as well.

Perhaps there is some FCC source ....

Thanks in advance!

NRC used to (and maybe still does) publish a Night Pattern Book. There may be old editions floating around on eBay or Amazon.

Thanks, gr8. I do have an older NRC Pattern Book. And the updates, which were on yellow paper.

Also, there's a pile somewhere of about 75 CRTC maps. On those, the nighttime signals are distinguihed with a solid line. The daytime patterns are in dotted lines. But the pages really have faded over the years.

I often go on line to enjoy the various Historical USGS maps ... things like the Shenandoah quadrant, a few of the Queens NY quadrants, etc. So I guess my best bet so far is looking for some Historic FCC coverage maps. The 'sales' promo maps I've seen for stations are inadequate. Radio-Locator's maps are quite good, but once a station leaves the air, their map on R-L gets deleted.

I like the old 77 WABC coverage map.

It shows where the daytime signal is listenable enough to have an audience.

That's why it was one of the stations I grew up with, even being where I was in south Jersey with an average sized radio.

But I couldn't hear it much during the day on my tiny hand held transistor radio because of the splatter from 800 WTMR Camden which was daytime only back then.

Not sure how useful these will be to anyone, but below is a link to a PDF showing the patterns of the stations on those frequencies and regions from a large, coil-bound book of such published by the Mutual Broadcasting System in January, 1951. I rescued that book from the trash heap of WJR in 1964, when I was on the engineering staff there.
