South 107 Turns on the Switch

I do not know why, but for the last three weeks I have been able to pick up South 107 on Monroe Dr and Cheshire Bridge Rd. That is why I mentioned a few weeks ago that I thought they had already raised the power to 100k.

The upping their power to 100k on their current stick has been in the works for a while and was contingent on 107.5's move to the "Gwinnett Is Great" tower.

More ATL potential may come from their next move: http://boards.radio-info.com/smf/index.php?topic=211902.0 . This second move would double their HAAT while keeping power at 100K, albeit with a couple insignificant nulls.

Roddy, what took South 107 so long to get the 100k up and running? I had heard they had everything ready to go and was just waiting for 107.5 to throw the switch at the new tower.

Earlier this week, I heard messages on South 107 tipping off listeners that "we're making the station bigger and better" or something along those lines, advising them to listen online should they experience any issues with the signal.

I really don't know.

Did the 107.1 translator licensed to Jonesboro have to sign off? I am actually getting a weak WTSH in Stockbridge.
