South Bend Arbs

So was the last book a fluke for the BEAR?

Although their 12+ numbers are up a little, AOR should be VERY worried with ZOW beating them in some important demos. Where are they coming from??

U seems to be holding their own again. Looks like it was a good book for Artistic!

Sunny still strong.

Include your thoughts.

seemed like a good book for both artistic and so so for schurz and the 30 names they use in south bend, haha.

guess casey and the gang deserve a pat on the back. that of course is artie the one man party's favorite market.

the bear took a huge hit, but that is in part of the low male sample im sure.

who put the fire under sunny, holy crap they jumped really high on the list.

Sunny, has been, is, and will be, undeserving of any respectable numbers. It is by far the sleepiest, sloppiest sounding station in the market and wins by default, IMHO. Tune away for a number of years (yes, years) tune back and be greeted by the same "classic" tunes (like the, what...one Journey song they play) and a bunch of sleepy currents. They market themselves as, "An upbeat variety of the blah...blah...blah..." but it is more like a beat-up blah...blah...blah. Sophomoric (sp??) humor with the morning squad...Sloppy on-air presentation...oh...and "an all 80's weekend" - every weekend!! (forgot about the excitement related to that). For years they ran Mike Harvey on Saturday night and yet had long since dumped any '60's songs from their playlist (this was before Harvey began to skew to the 70's and 80's.

What we the listener needs is for them to run head-to-head with a contender that wants to win!! Then, either they'll start giving compelling programming and will earn their numbers or the competition will eat their lunch and hit 'em over the head with their own lunch bucket!!

Buy me a drink and I'll tell you how I really feel.

All the bonuses paid at The Bear last book are being paid at Sunny this book. :)

I never trust a single book. Sunny has been at the top for a while, and will probably remain there or close. RBR is showing signs of one good book.

Congrats to WZOW ... were they a single station last Spring? (I know they went double, back to single and then back to double.) 4.8 is a nice number (if you like numbers).

WSBT-AM and WGN-AM ... Still showing nicely. Nice to see that AM broadcasting isn't dead.
