South Bend changes

From the South Bend Tribune.

WSBT Inc. announces the promotion of Jim Roberts to vice president/station manager for WSBT Radio Group. Roberts will be responsible for the daily oversight and decision-making for WSBT Radio Group, which includes Sunny 101.5 FM, Newsradio 960 AM, Oldies 94.3 FM and Real Country 99.9 FM, which are owned by or affiliated with Schurz Communications, the parent company of the South Bend Tribune.

Roberts began employment at WSBT in 1996 as an on-air announcer on Sunny 101.5 FM and became program director in 1999. He added program director responsibilities for Cat Country (now Real Country) 99.9 FM in 2001, and then advanced to operations manager for all WSBT Radio Group stations in 2005.

In 2008, Roberts was named director of Indiana programming and assumed oversight for programming of Schurz Communications’ South Bend and Lafayette radio stations. He was promoted to general sales manager of WSBT Radio Group in 2010.

I thought Sally Brown was the GM. What happened to her?
Jim Roberts gets promoted to VP/Station Manager for radio to fill that vacancy left when Sally Brown was promoted to GM over TV and radio last November.
