South Bend numbers...

Any comment on the Spring book numbers for South Bend?...

Looks like U93 took a hard hit.. or should I say got there "Power" to say #1 takin away...

Think they will rebound? I don't imagine that Power 95.7 will ever climb to #1 with there small signal... but they could be a serious contender with the big dawgs.

I think U93 will rebound. They're heritage, I don't see a total collapse following this. Power's never going to top U93 (and signal is exactly the reason why), but I think Federated's intent is just to put a dent into U93's younger audience... it appears they got their wish. It'll be interesting what else FedMed decides to invest with Power and see if the fall brings more of the same, or proves that the spring was just an anamoly.

Some of the other results are odd as well... active rock in South Bend getting the numbers that they did on the Bear? That was a pretty big shocker to me. The oldies and standards formats on WHLY and WZOC did much better than I would have expected, given nationwide trends. Very strange book for the spring.
