I agree with that carolinaradio. Greenville is an underserved sports radio market, as the only stations in that area are WCCP (which is only strong west of Greenville, more of a Clemson station), and 1400 in Spartanburg (which in this area, doesn't get out more than 15-20 miles).
Charleston has three sports talk stations, all with local programming (910, 1390/99.3, 1450).
ETV should broaden their programming, but they get so little money from the state that they have dropped a lot of things. Everything is run out of Columbia on their TV and radio side, and their local programming is only average compared to what UNCTV and GPB put out.
For my area, I think that several things should be done: 95SX should go back to a regular top 40 format, drop Ryan Seacrest in the afternoons, and sound like what it was before B92 came. 96.9 should go become more of a hot country format, and give Steve Russell a better timeslot. The Bridge should go back to their local music roots, and play that a large part of the day. 102.5 should get some more live personalities, and 95.9 should get some local personalities to fill out all of their timeslots.
