Rob, here's what I can identify based on your report:

No ID's were heard as this was weak (05:00 this morning saturday)

92.1 - Country overpowering WFFY (local) ******** prob WKUL Cullman, AL
92.3 - Country ******** WLWI Montgomery, AL "I-92"
94.3 - Country ********* prob WQZX Greenville, AL "Q-94.3"
95.9 - a morning show (bob and tom?) ** prob WRBA Springfield / Panama City
97.1 - "magic" R&B *********** WWMG Milbrook / Montgomery, AL good catch, only 1300 watts
97.3 - Classic Rock prob WRAK Bainbridge, GA "Magic 97.3" they are adult contemporary format but play classic rock too
99.7 - R&B ************** maybe WJMI Jackson, MS "99 Jamz"
100.5 Lite FM & Talk overpowering ******** no "Lite FM" anywhere in the southeast on 100.5, a few in the area are adult contemporary format. WOYS Apalachicola, FL or WLDA Ft Rucker / Dothan, AL most likely
101.3- Religion *********** prob WQIL Chauncy / Valdosta, GA
101.9 -Soul (sounded like georgia) ******** nothing in the area would fit an "urbanish" format, all adult contemporary or top 40 type formats, hard to say for sure without ID's. If you heard a Georgia mention most likely WBGE Bainbridge, GA "Live 101.9" they play quite a variety of music
102.3- Church (southern gosp) ******* WYVC Camden, AL
102.5- Dothan (I think) ******* "Rock 102-5 WESP" they ID after almost every song.
103.7 - country ******** prob. WAAO Andalusia, AL
103.9 - "my 1039" **********WJRL Ozark / Dothan, AL
104.3 - religon (southern gosp) ******* WHLW Luverne/ Montgomery, AL
104.5 - rock ********** most likely WXRR Hattiesburg, MS "Rock 104"
105.1 - CBS radio network 44 tone *********** hard to say for sure
105.3 - R&B ************* most likely in this order : WBFZ Selma, AL / WSTI Quitman, GA / WACR Aberdeen, MS, hard to say without ID
105.5 - Soft favourites overpowering our own "country 105.5" ********* not sure what "soft favourites" are exactly, maybe WFCT Apalachicola, FL "Coast 105.5" which is adult standard format
105.7 - Soft favourites ********* , WSCN Orange Beach, AL is adult contemporary "Sunny 105.7"
106.3 - country overpowering "WSBZ" (which barely comes in here anyway) *********** prob WKNU Brewton, AL "Coyote Country"
107.1 - "Magic" *********** WTLY Thomasville, GA (Tallahassee)
107.3 - top 40 overpowering WYCL *********** likely WCGQ Columbus, GA "Q-107.3"

Thanks, the 105.1 is panama city, (sports radio)

I didn't know the name for soft, I think soft A/C is more suitable

More to come (I hope)

Trope noticed here (NE PA) late Sunday afternoon while I was in the car.

Nothing much to report aside from WDSD 94.7 Dover DE. It's about 115 miles. WDSD was always a good trope barometer in my more active DX days on Long Island.

And downstate WLAN-FM 96.9 was as loud and clear as local WAVT 101.9.

Btw: Is there a somewhat faithful trope indicator or predictor which can be anticipated from surfing the average national weather map (highs, lows, temperatures, etc)?

Looks like were in the yellow tomorrow hopefully some E*Skip too.
and some red coming this week

(FWB area included)

..so to my FWB neighbour.. get ready! (you probably have better gear then me.. a portable grundig)

-Rob

Give it at least another month for E skip to really kick in. Last night's tropo was pretty good, better than the forecast map predicted. Many FM's from Texas were strong and a few from Mexico as far as Monterrey almost 900 miles were in.
On the WTFDA DX forums are some recordings to give you an idea the difference a directional antenna and IF filters will make.

The next few mornings may have similar tropo across the Gulf.

heard at 12:30 AM:

104.7 - oldies
106.5 - soft AC "strap us on and take us for a ride"
107.7 - country
93.1 - Urban (heard faintly over powerful WNCV - thanks for ruining this view)
93.7 - coast to coast am (poss dothan) /soft ac
94.3 - "country"
94.7 "oldies (sounded like a satellite fed "jones" station)

UPDATE

106.5 - now playing rap (urban)
105.7 - pop + urban
101.9 - "y102" & unknown (urban)
103.3 "mix 103" - tri county area ads
