South Park In Syndication

Dang, I was hoping that it was coming back to syndication, but oh well.

At least Comedy Central still airs the syndication versions in the afternoons. Much better than watching too much graphic images late at night.

Tribune Entertainment is distributing South Park under an exclusive deal with Debmar Studios and Mercury Entertainment. Under the agreement, Tribune Entertainment also oversees barter ad sales.

Of course, Debmar and Mercury soon merged, and later got snapped up by Lionsgate - I guess the success of the South Park syndication helped make D-M a major syndication player.

(Digging up a 9-year-old thread... wonder if that's a record on this site.)
