I suspect the producers will also make "sanitized" versions of each episode for broadcast syndication purposes.

I just saw the "Wall*Mart" episode the other night. Hilarious!
I know a lot of people who can't stand South Park, but I love that show!

Same here. I've loved it since I first saw it when it came out in 1997. I think the people that can't stand it just haven't watched it enough. <P ID="signature">______________

True, they'll manage to exclude the heavy duty profanity, but the "sanitation" can only go so far. I mean, how can you get around a talking fece? This is definitely no kiddie cartoon.

BTW: I don't care what the program rating ends up being (probably "14"), this show should remain rated "MA". Once "MA", always "MA". Period. I think "Sex and the City" should be handled the same way. Clean it up as you must, but the original HBO rating should stick.

Both of the above also shouldn't air at all before 10 PM on broadcast TV, but it probably will somewhere. It wouldn't surprise me.

It's reactionaries like this guy that are ruining entertainment.

I watch South Park. Usally I like it and get the point. Sometimes it just goes over the line for me. The Mr. Hanky episodes, in particular, and a few others. But, I just change the channel or turn it off. I don't complain about it. It's just not what I find entertaining. To each their own. I doubt I'll watch the "sanitized" versions -I hate censorship.

Not trying to cause a stink or offend you, but I have a serious question for you:

If you view these as "sanitized" versions, how do you feel about networks removing nudity and language from big-screen movies when they rebroadcast them?
