Southern California Reception

What time of day and what time of year was it that you heard KALL near El Centro? That would be amazing if it was truly ground wave.

More likely, given the time of day, it was daytime skywave.

I heard 4VEH, a 10 kw station in Port au Prince, Haiti, in Cleveland, Ohio, around that time of day in late Winter of 1962. Totally readable and listenable. 1,700 miles.
